Content/Organization	Poor Directions are not clear and not in an order that flows through the explanation.	Fair Directions are fuzzy, and just barely set up a chronological order. May have a tip or example.	Good Directions are pretty clear and one or two tips and/or examples are included. Directions are mostly in chronological order.	Excellent Directions are very clear and include tips and examples. Directions flow in a chronological order to explain.
Grammar, Punctuation, and Spelling	Poor Five or more mistakes.	Fair Three to four mistakes.	Good Two mistakes.	Excellent One or no mistakes.
Creativity	Poor No extras have been added to sentences or content.	Fair Some though and creativity has been added to the content. Sentences are basic.	Good Sentences and ideas are interesting and include some good word choice.	Excellent Sentences are interesting and exciting, including creative word choice.
Illustration	Poor No illustration is included.	Fair An illustration is there, but it may not match the content or is not colored.	Good An illustration is included, is colored, and is appropriate.	Excellent A fabulous illustration is included, matches the content, and is neatly colored.
