Renaissance Fair Project Rubric 
The group will research several aspects of the fair. The final plan should include 1) a schedule of the day’s events, 2) a list of supplies, 3)a menu of the food to be served, 4) sketches or pictures of the costumes to be worn, 5) a list of games to be played, 6) a list of the entertainment for the day, 7) names of ceremonies to take place, 8) a list of any speeches to be presented, 9) a list of vendors, 10) pictures, drawings, or actual signs (posters) to announce the fair.

Most of the project is logically organized. A visitor to the table would be able to follow the information easily.

Project is logical and well organized. The group obviously planned with an audience in mind.
Presentation

Poor. Appears thrown together with little enthusiasm, does not know much about subject, does not communicate with visitors. Just doing an assignment and/or hoping the others in the group do it for him/her Embarrassing representation of RHS
D - sub-standard

So-so appearance, not much enthusiasm, mumbles and giggles, little subject knowledge. A bit embarrassing to show people.
C - Average

Acceptable appearance, knowledge, and ability to converse with visitors. Varied enthusiasm.
B - Proficient

Good appearance,
enthusiasm, speaks to visitors showing a solid subject knowledge. Can answer questions.
A - Exemplary

Excellent appearance. Enthusiasm. Enjoys showing project to visitors. "Gets it" and likes it. Takes pride in the display. Awesome.

Plan contains 3 or fewer of the required elements. Elements may be inaccurate or thrown together.
