Creative Expression	Poor No attempt to solve the problem. Copied examples.	Good Obvious attempt to solve the problem. Uses photos with little originality.	Average Above average attempt to solve the problem. Makes decisions in a logical way. Originality in design.	Excellent Extraordinary attempt to solve the problem. Tries unusual, original combinations. Uses materials creatively.
Craftsmanship	Poor Lack of evidence of craftsmanship -work completed with marginal care. Messy, slapped together. Many detractors. Weak technique	Good Evidence of adequate craftsmanship-work is inconsistent and has some detractors. Satisfactory technique.	Average Evidence of consistent craftsmanship and care with some attention to detail. Little detractors. Uses strong technique.	Excellent Evidence of exemplary craftsmanship. Work shown with exceptional care and attention to detail. No detractors. Uses excellent technique.
