Clay structure is messy and unbalanced in a way that demonstrates limited degree of care in construction and no attention to detail. Project ended up broken in the end. Box does not meet size requirement. The lid falls off the sculpture.
Good
Clay is constructed nicely, but parts of the sculpture show roughness and could have been smoothed out more. Box is slightly larger than requirement. Lid does not have interlocking pieces.
Excellent
Sculpture is strong, neat, and balanced in a way that demonstrates control of media used. Sculpture stayed together in one piece. Box meets size requirement and has an interlocking lid that doesn't slide off the top of the sculpture.
