Character Cards Character Map Students will create Character cards for six to eight characters. They will draw a picture with each character's likeness and desribe each character with 3-5 sentences. Character Traits
	Fair 1 pts	Good 2 pts	Excellent 3 pts
3-5 Character traits	Fair Character traits were not described.	Good Character traits were described; showed some effort.	Excellent Character traits were described fully.
Sentences	Fair Sentences were poorly constructed/incomplete with little detail.	Good Sentences did not provide adequate detail or were poorly constructed.	Excellent Sentences were complete with adequate detail.
Grammar	Fair Several mistakes (5-8) were made in spelling, capitalization, or punctuation.	Good A few (3-4) spelling, capitalization, or punctuation mistakes were made.	Excellent Spelling, capitalization, punctuation were minimal and did not effect project.
Picture	Fair Picture was messy and uncolored, showed little or no effort.	Good Picture was colored but was messy, showed some effort.	Excellent Picture was neat, colored and matched the character.
