Pet Show, Rubric for Persuasive Writing 
Students required to write a persuasive piece. Fudge wants to be a dog or a bird. Have students select an animal that they would like to become. Students will describe the animal and then write a persuasive essay that would lead their classmates to agree that this would be the best pet to become.
