Question Answers There are questions to answer about the patterns/graphs that are discussed in class and with the teacher.	Excellent All of the questions are answered accurately.	Good 99% - 90% of the questions are answered accurately.	Moderate 89% - 80% of the questions are answered accurately.	Fair 79% - 70% of the questions are answered accurately.	Poor 69% - 60% of the questions are answered accurately.	Unsatisfactory More than 59% of the questions are answered accurately.
Work Shown Work is shown for figuring out tile arrangements.	Excellent Work is shown for all 3 color tile pages and how the patterns were established.	Good Work is shown, but may not be completely accurate.	Moderate Work is missing for one of the color tile charts/patterns.	Fair Work is missing for more than one of the color tile charts/patterns.	Poor Work is missing for the majority of the color tile charts/patterns.	Unsatisfactory Work is missing for all of the color tile charts/patterns.
Squares Filled Student will complete additional squares and all of the chart on each color tile sheet (1-3).	Excellent All squares and equations on the charts are completed accurately.	Good A few of the equations on the charts were calculated incorrectly.	Moderate More than a few of the equations on the charts were calculated incorrectly.	Fair 5 or more of the equations on the charts were calculated incorrectly.	Poor The student showed poor math skills and no thought when filling out the charts or completing the equations.	Unsatisfactory None of the charts were completed accurately.
Graphs completed Graphs will be completed and color coded for each color tile sheet to show patterns.	Excellent All graphs were completed and color coded accurately, as the teacher instructed. Work was neat.	Good A few errors occurred on the graphs. Work was neat.	Moderate More than a few errors occurred on the graphs. Work needed to be a little neater.	Fair There were 5 or more errors on the graphs. Work was not as neat as it needed to be.	Poor The student showed poor skills when plotting their coordinates and work was not neat.	Unsatisfactory The student failed to complete the graphs accurately or neatly.
