Good Identifies the metaphor but is able to provide an example rather an a complete explanation of the figurative language.	Fair Identifies part the metaphor but has difficulty explaining what he author is trying to say through figurative language.	Poor Does not identify the metaphor. Figurative language poses great difficulty.
