"Book It" Book Report 
Every month the student will complete a book report on a library book at the sixth grade level. The student has chosen to participate in "Book It" this month. This option allows the student to complete a detailed report on a book of their choice. To receive credit the rubric must be attached to the top of the book report.

Fair

The information in the report is relevant, it relates to the book. The teacher can understand the book from the report. It is clear the student read the book.
Good

The content shows detailed knowledge of the book. The teacher understood the book and learned something new from the report. The student read the book and thought about it.
Creativity

The student showed little effort in creating an original project on their book.
Fair

The report shows a reasonable amount of creativity.

The student went beyond the usual. The report shows a good amount of creativity. The project reveals a great amount of effort and originality.
