3D Animated Scene

Requirements	Excellent All project requirements are met and exceeded.	Good All project requirements are met.	Fair One project requirement was not completely met.	Poor More than one requirement was not completely met.
Background	Excellent Backgrounds well developed - enhance story. Use of objects to tell stories used wisely and drawn with detail. Layers used to organize objects/scenes	Good Backgrounds included but not well planned or designed. Use of objects included but not well thought out to tell story	Fair Backgrounds poor or missing. No other symbols designed or included. Better use of layers would enchance animation	Poor No Backgrounds or objects. Only one layer.
Other Principles of Animation	Excellent The project shows use of multiple principles of animation (Or full use of the one or two principles the project is based on.) They are clearly demonstrated and strong.	Good Several principles of animation are used but could be improved upon.	Fair The project seems stiff and awkward in some areas. Additional focus on perfecting and implementing more of the principles of animation is needed.	Poor The project seems stiff, and awkward as a whole. It appears to be missing many of the key animation principles. Much more time should have been spent in these areas.
Creativity	Excellent Project shows a large amount of original thought. Ideas are inventive, designed well and are very creative.	Good Project shows some original thought and creativity. Work shows new ideas and insights.	Fair Some creativity is shown but several elements still seem stale and unimaginative.	Poor Uses very little imagination and creativity.
Rendering and File Name	Excellent Project is properly rendered and named AnimatedScene_LNFN.avi	Good Project requires multiple renders but still named correctly. AnimatedScene_LNFN.avi	Fair Project requires multiple renders and not named correctly.	Poor Project not rendered or named correctly.
Quality of Work/Time Invested	Excellent Project looks like there was an abundance of time invested which produced a high quality piece of work	Good Projects looks to have taken a large amount of outside of class work to complete which produced an nice piece of work.	Fair Project looks to have taken the bare minimum of time allotted in class to complete which produced an average or below average piece of work.	Poor Project looks to have been rushed and seems to have very little effort put into the overall quality.
