Participation	Excellent -I participated a lot! -I was a very respectful participant. -I asked and answered questions. -I made comments. -I participated in all of the groups discussions.	Satisfactory -I participated some of the time. -I tried to be respectful of the people in my group. -I contributed to the discussion a few times.	Needs Improvement -I was not participating in the groups activities. -I did not respect the people in my group. -I didn't contribute to discussion at all.
Paying Attention	Excellent I was: -looking at the person talking -not playing around -following all directions. -followed along and knew where we were at al times. I didn't need any reminders	Satisfactory I tried to pay attention, but I needed the group leader to remind me 1 time because I did not follow along carefully.	Needs Improvement I was: -not looking at the person talking -playing around -not following along during reading I needed lots of reminders
Distractions	Excellent I did not distract the others in my group. I was not distracted by things in the room or at my table.	Satisfactory I needed 1 reminder about distracting others or being distracted.	Needs Improvement I was distracting other students with my voice or body. I was distracted by things in the room or in my desk.
Work	Excellent -I tried my best -I did my best reading/writing -I used strategies -I stayed on task.	Satisfactory I did everything I was supposed to for most of the lesson. I needed 1-2 reminders.	Needs Improvement -I was not trying my best. -I did not do my best work. -I didn't use strategies. -I didn't stay on task
