Author used many and varied examples of elements of poetry that are used throughout the book. Vivid, detailed images and intensely felt emotion make the poems come alive.

Some examples of elements of poetry are present and add the reader's experience. Clear sensory images are used to portray ideas or emotions. Reader understands what the author intended.
