Follows rules/ procedures entering, during and exiting class in a positive way. Tries to help others do the same.

Makes a conscious effort to follow rules/procedures entering, during and exiting class.

Generally follows rules/procedures entering, during and exiting class. Needs few reminders.

Usually needs reminders to follow rules/ procedures entering, during and exiting class; makes little effort to change behaviors.

Does not follow rules/procedures entering, during and exiting class; makes no effort to improve behaviors.

Follow classroom procedues & rules as posted.

Enter the room calmly & responsibly.

Walk directly to your assigned seat & sit.

If you are in charge of getting a folder or music for your group, do so as you enter the room.

Handle equipment in room appropriately.

Keep your feet off the chairs & do not rock or tip them.

Participates willingly during class, with a positive attitude. Listens to directions from the instructor and follows them.

Makes conscious efforts to improve participation and to follow directions from the instructor.

Generally participates during class; follows choir music and usually follows directions from the instructor.

Participates very little during class; rarely follows choir music and directions from the instructor.

Does not participate appropriately during class; does not listen to the instructor; does not stay on task.

Active Involvement

Participate/sing when asked to. Follow the choir music and maintain a positive attitude.

Use "down time" constructively. Review words to songs etc. while waiting to sing again.

Listen to and follow all directions as given by the teachers.
