Students do not have a grasp of the information for the topic(s) they chose; students demonstrate no knowledge of realated chemistry in the delivery of their project and presentation.

Students are uncomfortable with information and demonstrate only rudimentary relatale chemistry in the delivery of their project and presentation.
Good
Students are at ease with the topic(s) they have chosen and demonstrate evidience of chemistry related to topic(s) in their deliveryof the project & presentation. However they fail to elaborate beyond obtained research.
Excellent
Students demonstrate full knowledge (more than required)with detailed elaboration of the chemistry related to their topic(s). Provide many chemistry-based explainations during their project & presentation. Students TAUGHT the ideas of chemisrty through their project & presentation.
Visuals &/or Demonstrations
Poor
Students use superfluous (redundant, needless, odd) visuals or no visuals at all.
Fair
Students use visuals that vaguely support the information learned from their chosen topic(s) and the chosen visuals are sparcely applicable to their what is being presented.
Good
Students' visuals relate to and support the information learned and are aplicable to the topic(s) chosen for their presentation.
Excellent
Student's visuals explain, relate, apply and reinforce all the areas and topics of chemistry chosen for their presentation.
Elocution, Mechanics, & Time
Poor
Students mumble, incorrectly apply chemistry concepts & terms, and speak too quietly for audience members to understand. Only one group member participated in presentation and showed little emotions. Presentation was less then 6 minutes.
Fair
Students speak in low voices. Students are insecure with applying chemistry concepts & terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation. Half of the group was involved in presenting but with minimal emotion. Presentation was under 6 minutes.
Good
Students' voices are clear. Students pronounce and apply most chemistry concepts and terms correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation. All group members actively participated. Presentation met the time requirements.
Excellent
Students use clear voices and correct, precise use of chemistry terms and concepts so that all audience members can hear presentation. All group members actively and enthusiastically participated in the presentation. Presentation met the time requirements.
