Writing: Short Story
The purpose of this assignment is to go through the steps of the writing process, including- brainstorming, creating a rough draft, revising/editing, and publishing a final draft. Each student will be given a bound book for publishing their final draft. They may choose to create a fiction story or to write a book on a theme of their choice.

Writing is difficult to read and understand. Contains several spelling and/or punctuation errors.

Illustrations are lacking in detail and do not enhance the text.
