Presentation Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Excellent 4 pts
Article Knowledge	Poor Students do not have grasp of information; students cannot answer questions	Fair Students are uncomfortable with information and able to answer only rudimentary questions.	Good Students are at ease with expected answers to all questions, but fails to elaborate.	Excellent Students demonstrate full knowledge (more than required) by answering all class questions with explanations and elaboration.
Discussion Insights	Poor Students make no connections or insights with article content and do not lead discussion	Fair Students share minimal insight and application of content and ask surface questions.	Good Students share an example of the content and engage a few classmates in discussion.	Excellent Students share relevant application of the content to their own experiences and engage class in discussion.
Eye Contact	Poor Students read all of report with no eye contact.	Fair Students occasionally use eye contact, but still reads most of report.	Good Students maintain eye contact most of the time but frequently returns to notes.	Excellent Students maintain eye contact with audience, seldom returning to notes and move around the room.
Elocution	Poor Student mumbles, incorrectly pronounces terms, and speaks too quietly for students in the back of class to hear.	Fair Student's voice is low. Student incorrectly pronounces terms. Audience members have difficulty hearing presentation.	Good Student's voice is clear. Student pronounces most words correctly. Most audience members can hear presentation.	Excellent Student uses a clear voice and correct, precise pronunciation of terms so that all audience members can hear presentation.
