Accuracy	Excellent Student read the passage with no errors in the allotted time.	Good Student read the passage with few errors in the allotted time.	Poor Student struggled with the passage and had many errors. Student did not finish the passage in the allotted time.	Unsatisfactory Student was not able to read the passage.
Fluency	Excellent Student was able to read the passage fluently natural pauses.	Good Student was able to read the passage somewhat fluently, with natural pauses.	Poor Student struggled to read the passage fluently, and failed to pause when necessary.	Unsatisfactory Student was not able to read the passage fluently.
Punctuation	Excellent Student clearly understood when one sentence ended and another one began, and read accordingly.	Good Student somewhat understood when a sentence ended and another sentence began, will few errors.	Poor Student struggled with pausing at then end of a sentence before beginning a new sentence.
