Language flows smoothly and there are no pauses or self-corrections.	Good Student is able to recite most of the speech from memory with clarity. Language flows smoothly but there are some pauses or self-corrections. Presentation seems a bit mechanical.	Fair Student recites some of the speech but leaves parts out making it difficult to follow and understand. Presentation is mechanical or incomplete.	Poor Student fails to remember the speech or is missing a large part making it impossible for the listener to follow and comprehend.
PRONUNCIATION 20 Excellent 15 to 19 Good 10 to 14 Fair 0 to 9 Poor	Excellent Pronounces all words correctly and speaks clearly. Almost sounds like a native speaker. Uses proper intonation and rhythm. Student fails to maintain eye contact with his audience making his presentation seem mechanical.	Poor Student fails to demonstrate content knowledge by his lack of body language and use of facial and hand gestures. Presentation is very mechanical.
VISUALS 10 Excellent 8 to 9 Good 6 to 7 Fair 0 to 5 Poor	Excellent Student provides a promotional poster for his/her campaign. Poster contains a slogan, is colored and it is full size (24" x 36"). If student is doing a video, poster is clearly visible in the background.	Good Student provides a promotional poster for his/her campaign. Poster contains a slogan, is colored but is smaller than (24" x 36"). If student is doing a video, poster is clearly visible in the background.	Fair Student provides a promotional poster for his/her campaign. Poster does not contain all the required elements, does not look professional and/or is not colored.	Poor Student did not provide a visual aid.
