Knowledge	Poor The letter lacks knowledge of the time period. The letter displays signs of inadaquate understanding of the writing prompt.	Fair The letter reflects knowledge of both Metis life and government life, there may be a few minor misconceptions. The letter somewhat meets the requirements of the writing prompt.	Good The letter reflects good knowledge of both Metis life and government life,. The letter is developed and mostly in line with the writing prompt.
