Poor
Expression is flat and monotone. No "life" is given to the characters through the reading.
Fair
At least two of the presenters lacked expression and interpretation.
Good
While the majority of the students brought life to the piece, one student was not doing his/her best to bring the piece to life.
Excellent
Expression varies and enhances the presentation. Each student brought excitement to the presentation.
SCORE
Body/Face/Energy
Poor
The students all clearly "winged it" as they went on. No one seemed to know what the others were doing. Students were apathetic and lacked energy as a whole.
Fair
There were a few movements planned, but they lacked the enthusiasm and precision of a focused, and well-prepared group. Many students had low energy levels.
Good
There were a few very good movements planned. Overall, the students had good facial expressions. Some students had low energy levels.
Excellent
Facial expressions and movements have been clearly thought-out and rehearsed. All external elements perfectly add to the presentation overall. The group exhibits a positive energy.
SCORE

Excellent

SCORE

Fair
While the entrances and exits may have been rehearsed, three or more students require prompting.
Good
The entrances and exits were rehearsed, but one or two students were not in sync with the other students.
Excellent
The group clearly practiced entrances and exits. Everyone is in sync and the entrances and exits run smoothly.
SCORE
