Poster on a famous Hispanic artist
Students will produce a poster on a Hispanic artist of their choice. The poster will need to include the artist’s name, his/her portrait, a short paragraph on his/her life, two artistic pieces by the artists which the students like the most and why (100 words for each piece). All written elements need to be in students own words. All illustrations can be hand-drawn or printed. This project is to be done individually and research should be done through the Internet or the library (although plagiarism will be dealt with strictly, resulting in an instant fail). The posters will be handed in for marking and outstanding work may be displayed in class.
