Binder and Journal 20 pts Student must have a 1 inch 3 ring binder and a notebook of any kind or a journal composition notebook.	Poor Student does not have a notebook of any kind.	Fair Student has a notebook but not a binder	Good Student had the required 1 in, 3 ring binder and a notebook.
Order 20 pts Notes are in order from past notes to most recent notes.	Poor Notes are not in order at all.	Fair Some notes are in correct order	Good All notes are in correct order.
Handouts 20 pts All the required handouts are in the correct topic or section in the binder.	Poor No handouts present	Fair Some handouts present but not in correct section.	Good All handouts present and in correct section.
Organization 20 pts Notebook is organized according to teacher's instructions.	Poor Notebook is not organized.	Fair Notebook has some organization but is missing one or more tab dividers.	Good Notebook as all four-five tab dividers: -Bellwork -Classwork (handouts) -Homework (handouts) -Notes -Quizzes/Projects
Completion 20 pts Complete copy of all objectives, answered all bellworks, and responded to all Essential questions.
