CONTENT Includes a definition of the weather type, its characteristics, typical conditions, and usual locations found. Also includes historical information about were it has occurred previously, the worst/most extreme examples, and related historical facts.	Exemplary More than the stipulated information is presented.	Proficient The stipulated information is presented.	Developing No more than 69% of the stipulated information is presented in the project.	Beginning No more than 59% of the stipulated information is presented in the project.
VISUAL AIDS Must include pictures. May use graphs, charts, and/or video.	Exemplary The visual aids have an element of creativity and style. Information is presented in a clear manner with full understanding of the subject.	Proficient The visual aids are clear and logical and contain facts with very few mistakes. Information is clear with fair understanding of the subject.	Developing The visual aids show some understanding of the subject matter, but contain errors. They lack meaning to the intended presentation.	Beginning The visual aids do not reveal a clear understanding of the subject matter or new or no props and visual aids.
VISUAL APPEAL/NEATNESS Completed project includes neat, legible, orderly information, demonstrating time and care by the project team.	Exemplary The work done exceeds all expectations. The effort put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.	Proficient Work is done with good effort that shows the capability of the learner. It is evident that time was put into this project.	Developing Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed or not given appropriate time and attention.	Beginning Work is done with little effort, shows lack of quality, and may be incomplete. It is evident little time was spent on the final product.
PRESENTATION Students demonstrated complete subject knowledge and all team members took ownership of the end product.	Exemplary The student is well-prepared, presents the information clearly, and displays a complete understanding of the information.	Proficient The student presents the information clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of their information.	Developing The information presented is not clearly displayed consistently throughout the project.	Beginning Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information. It lacks the expected organization and flow.
