Interview Mock Interview Students will participate in a interview with a class visitor using questions they compose in class. Students will work in groups to compose questions based on immigrant topics previously studied in class. Fair Student composed questions, but were not relevant to topic.	Good Student offered some questions but could have been more relevant questions to support group.	Excellent Student came up with many relevant questions to ask the guest speaker.
Listening to class visitor 1 pts Student pay attention to what visitor says, and appropriate question to ask next.	Poor Student was not paying attention to speaker.	Fair Student was distracted and not listening attentively.	Good Student seemed to be listening, but asked a question that had already been asked.	Excellent Student listens attentively, and chooses next questions smoothly, not repeating any questions.
Participation 1 pts Student works with group to compose questions, listen and brainstorm with others in group, and participate in group debrief afterwards	Poor Student does not participate with group or class discussion.	Fair Student only shares one or two ideas with their group and class but is distracted.	Good Student shares several ideas with group and class, but can be distracted.
