Magazine Cover Project Magazine Cover Project Create a magazine cover that looks like a real magazine. Be sure you include a title, illustration, headline articles, and dateline. Be creative and make the finished product look as professional as possible. Follow all your desktop publishing guidelines using InDesign and Photoshop. Margin layout	Great Take image or background out to the edges of the Paper. Make sure bleed area is beyond page area.	Good Image or background is in the print area taking up most of the page. Image is not beyond the print area	Fair Image is to small to give impact to the magazine.	Poor No image is on the page
Article Headlines	Great Article headlines are interesting brining the audience into the cover.	Good Headlines are not interesting and do not pertain to the magazine.	Fair Lack of interesting article titles.	Poor No titles
Illustration	Great illustration is interesting and utilizes the composition elements. Image is compelling and brings the reader into the magazine.	Good Illustration is not interesting, it lacks clarity, and/ or the subject matter is not in line with magazine.	Fair Illustration is of poor quality and does not add to the overall quality of the magazine cover.	Poor illustration is missing. Not original artwork... was done by someone else.
Graphics/Color	Great Color or graphics are used to add interest to the cover.	Good color/graphic used does not bring in the viewer.	Fair color/graphic used is plain showing no research.	Poor colors or graphics are used ineffectively
