Drawing	Poor Student did not perform the activity "blind". There are no "connector lines" and the drawing itself is too symmetrical. Drawing was also done in a hasty manner.	Fair There are a few "connector lines" but it seems as if the drawing was rushed. The drawing could've used a bit more attention to detail. The drawing doesn't really have a sense of "personality".	Good Drawing was clearly done in a patient and proficient manner. The drawing is definitely "blind" and contains many detailed characteristics of a human face. It is clear that this drawing is of a certain individual.
Color	Poor Student did not use a limited palette. No real attention to color was payed. Pencil lines are evident and have not been colored over.	Fair Student attempted to use a limited palette. Portions of pencil lines aren't fully covered.	Good Student successfully used a limited palette with all pencil lines are fully covered.
Application of Color	Poor Student's application of color is done in a hasty and haphazard fashion. Manner is not consistent enough to create a visually appealing piece.	Fair Student's application of color is done in a manner that is mainly organized. Student could've taken more time to create a visually appealing piece.	Good Student's application of color is done in a highly organized and consistent fashion. The student's piece is the most attractive it could be in terms of color application.
Presentation	Poor Student did not take care of their paper. Paper is dirty, torn, bent, folded or has misc. marks in the clean sections. If student "bordered" the drawing it wasn't done in a measured fashion.	Fair Student's paper has some misc. marks in the clean sections of their paper. For the most part the paper is clean. If the student "bordered" the drawing it is for the most part measured but slightly off still.	Good Paper is free of all marks, tear, or bends. If paper is bordered it is done in a perfectly measured fashion.
Aesthetic	Poor The piece consists of dispirit elements and is not consistent. Student did not think about the piece in a singular way but hastily drew, colored and did not take his/her time to really think things through.	Fair For the most part the piece is thought of as a whole. One element is off but for the most part things look and feel cohesive.	Good The piece is thought of as a whole. The drawing, the color, the color application and presentation are all done in a thoughtful and attractive manner.
