Complete sentence	Good The sentence is a complete thought with a subject and predicate.	Fair The sentence has a complete thought but is a run on or rambling sentence.	Poor The group of words is a fragment.
Beginning capital	Good Capital at the beginning of the sentence.	Fair	Poor No capital at the beginning of the sentence.
End punctuation	Good There is correct end punctuation.	Fair There is end punctuation but not the correct kind for the sentence type.	Poor There is no end punctuation.
Paragraph Assessment Rubric
	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Indentation	Good First line only of paragraph is indented.	Fair Multiple lines of paragraph are indented.	Poor Paragraph is not indented.
