	Basic 1 pts	Proficient 2 pts	Advanced 3 pts
Melody	Basic Students used three or less notes of the pentatonic scale.	Proficient Students used four notes of the pentatonic scale.	Advanced Students used all five notes of the pentatonic scale.
Notation	Basic Students transcribed their work with 5 or more mistakes with little regard to musical guidelines and transcription is hard to read.	Proficient Students transcribed their work with 3 to 4 mistakes in regards to music guidelines and is legible.	Advanced Students transcribed their work with 2 to no mistakes in regards to musical guidelines and transcription is neatly written.
Performance	Basic Students performed their work with five or more mistakes.	Proficient Students performed their work with three to four mistakes.	Advanced Students performed their work with two or less mistakes.
