Appropriate Engagement	Poor -Student participates in 25%-50% of activities on a daily basis. -Student does not try their best during activities and must be motivated on a daily basis to participate.	Fair -Student participates in 50%-75% of activities on a daily basis -Student does not try their best during activities and must be motivated to participate on a regular basis	Good -Student participates in all activities on a daily basis throughout the unit -Student may give full effort on most activities but is not fully involved/trying their best in 100% of activities	Excellent -Student fully participates in all activities on a daily basis throughout the unit. 100% effort-Student goes above and beyond during class and is and showing leadership skills.
Motor skills	Poor -Unable to perform all of the Basic tasks required during the practical examination	Fair -Able to perform all of the Basic Tasks required.	Good -Able to perform the given task without hesitation	Excellent -Able to perform all of the Basic motor Pattern, all of the Proficient motor Patterns, and the Advanced motor Pattern.
Content knowledge/Application	Poor -Demonstrates little or no understanding. Shows the need for further work in the area of game play/tasks & strategy.	Fair -Demonstrates general understanding, can participate in a game and understand some strategies.	Good -Demonstrates good understanding, can participate in a game/tasks successfully, and shows understanding of strategy.	Excellent -Demonstrates comprehensive understanding, can practice, lead or even instruct in a game/tasks successfully, shows use of strategy.
