Final Unity Project

The students will put together an electronic presentation to show during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding current financial issues. The group oral presentation must be aligned with their electronic presentation.

Students will be selected an animal. The learner will describe the unique characteristics about this animal and will be writing about their animal. They will identify the traits of their animal. The report should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, and other interesting facts about the animal that they've researched.

Independent Activity: "Beauty Collage" Create a collage that represents beauty The collage should be made using Microsoft PowerPoint and Clip Art, Word Art, or Internet Images. This collage should consist of a wide variety of images that tell what beauty means to you.

Students chose a book to read independently and then review. The review incorporates information about the book's characters, setting, plot, genre, theme, and writing style. Students will decide which type of book report they would like to do: paper, powerpoint, website, imovie, or performance.

Research holiday traditions, foods, geography and climate, economy, typical meals and culture. Make an oral report about the country and demonstrate and/or provide food samples.

Students will create a drone business or non-profit. Students create a business plan, along with a website, demo, or advertisement.

You will be creating an animal from your imagination. Give it a scientific name and describe its characteristics and functions. You must describe the animals living environment, its eating habits, its survival techniques, and how the animal functions in the world. You will describe what group it belongs to and why they think it belongs in that category. You will also be creating a detailed drawing of your animal in its habitat.

The students will put together a poster to show during a gallery walk. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to their assigned body system.

You are to assume the role of new owners of a Chinese food truck. The food truck industry is a growing field in the hospitality and tourism industry. To start your own company you must complete the following: Design the Truck, Select the Food and prices, Construct the food truck, Create a commercial, and present your food truck to the class.

This rubric is for a board game project based on a culinary concept from this year.

• DIORAMA : Pick a scene from one of the selections we have read this year and create a diorama. A diorama is a miniature scene in a box. With your created diorama, you will write a one-paragraph DESCRIPTION of the scene and its significance.

Create an alternative ending by adding another chapter or changing the last chapter.

This rubric is designed to help give a group grade as well as an individual grade. You will complete this rubric on your own and honestly. . In order to receive full points you must complete all parts of this sheet; this includes writing your name, your partners name, and comments to back up your answers.
