This is a rubric for grading a brochure on a topic of the student's choice.

? Attached you will find six articles all having to do with Teaming. Your assignment is to pick three of the articles and write a report summarizing what you learned in each article and explaining the importance of teaming in today’s workplace. Make sure you indicate which articles you are writing about. I suggest you have a subtitle for each article and summarize them individually and then write a conclusion. ? You will not have class time for this assignment. ? Your paper must be typed, double spaced, and have a cover page. ? The report must be a minimum of 1000 words (I will be checking). That’s approximately 3 pages double spaced. Make sure you check your word count in the bottom toolbar. ? The assignment is due on Friday, May 6. ? This is worth 200 test points. ? You need to email your report to me instead of printing it because I will be checking your work count. ? I have also attached a rubric so you know exactly what you will be graded on and point values.

Create a magazine cover that looks like a real magazine. Choose the title of the publication. Then, be sure you include a title, photos, headline articles, dateline and follow a theme. Be creative and make the finished product look as professional as possible. Be aware of the marketability and audience appeal of your magazine.

A student can earn from 0-10 points per class, based on his/her behavior during class. A student's Daily Participation/Behavior Grade is contingent upon how the student chooses to contribute to in-class lectures, discussions, and the overall classroom environment. This daily grade was engineered to ensure that each student is receiving the most out of his/her time in TAG, while also enabling parents/guardians to remain informed of their student's behavior in the classroom.

This rubric will be used as students present to the class their Arduino projects that will be presented during the Arduino Expo in the second semester.

By the end of our course, my expectations is that students should be able to type between 20-30 wpm without looking at the keyboard in most cases. This speed should produce a 85% or better level of accuracy.

When asked, "_______, what is your address and phone number?" the student will state and/or write the correct address and phone number with 80% accuracy as measured by the special education teacher on data sheets.
