5 rubric Research study critique       popup preview
A major objective of this paper assignment is to help you familiarize yourselves with existing research and theoretical writings pertinent to your topic. Find the best empirical (data-based) articles you can that address this topic. Describe the articles you reviewed, their methods and findings, strengths and weaknesses. Make any recommendations for further refining research in this area that occur to you including concrete suggestions (e.g., additional theoretical considerations, highlighting relevance of group-specific variables or alternative measures for key constructs) for a possible replication and extension of the study you review. You will be graded (see below) in large part based on the relevance of the studies to your topic and the thoroughness with which you examine and reflect on the studies.
