"The history of America is Immigration." As we have been discussing immigration in our history class, we have learned that many individuals who have emigrated from other countries have come to America for many different reasons. Some to escape the has living conditions, tyranny government, for better opportunities, etc. This project is to give students the opportunity to learn history by applying and connecting this Immigration unit with their own family immigration history.

Students are creating a unique creature by making a hybrid of three different animals. Students will write a paragraph about the life of this animal paying attention to attributes of each animal. A poster needs to be created with a picture, a unique name and the paragraph neatly displayed.

Then at the end of October you will become an animation from this Native American tribe and try and convince first graders to pick you for their museum.
