2 rubric "The Outsiders" Soundtrack       popup preview  
Make a soundtrack with eight songs for a movie version of the book with an explanation for each song choice. You will need to create an album cover. Each song explanation should also discuss how the song is related to one of the literary elements of the book such as theme, character, symbolism, and situations that the book explored. You might also include one line from the book, linking your artistic choice with your explanation, in each of your paragraphs.

5 rubric Book Project: Jackdaw       popup preview  
Create a jackdaw and build a display of these items. Label each artifact using an index card, sharing its importance to the book. Include a direct quotation with the page number on one side of the index card from your book for the items; and on the other side should be an explanation of the artifact. The explanation should have at least four sentences that relate the importance of the artifact to the book.
