The Business Model Canvas, is a tool to describe how your organization creates, delivers, and captures value. (Business Model Generation, Osterwalder and Pigneur, 2010). Using the Value Proposition and complete Business Model Canvas, produce proof that your ideas can work on a limited budget, manage involvement of investors, and reduce the risk of running out of money.

Students develop a business plan for a business for a and present it to the sharks. They will present to their peers as well as to 3 potential investors (Coppock, Jungers, Echols). The Presentation will 5-10 minutes in length.

Creating a vacation analysis spreadsheet and chart

Students are to create a document in Word, or create a PowerPoint to explain computer purchase to a group of senior citizens. Students will also summarize the project by giving 5 tips/features to consider when buying a computer. The finished project will be presented through a PowerPoint presentation or Word and submitted to the Haiku Dropbox.

Directions: Create and present a PowerPoint presentation based upon the Career Research. The purpose of this presentation is to inform the student and transition team about the chosen occupation. Refer to the topics listed below for the required elements to be included in the PowerPoint presentation. Slide topics:  Title slide (occupation, student name, and date)  Salary information  Educational requirements  Entry level positions – opportunities for advancement  Nature of work- What do they actually do?  Working conditions  Occupational outlook  Things which can be done to prepare for this job

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your PowerPoint presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the PowerPoint presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your powerpoint have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

The project is to develop a power point presentation describing an assigned disease. This project would be for a highschool health (9-12) class which is a requirement for high school graduation. The minimum number of slides in th powerpoint is 15 and the maximum is 25. The requirements include; what is the disease; cause; signs and symptoms; incubation period; treatment; prognosis; prevention; foundations dedicated to research about the disease; and well known people who suffer from the disease. Include 5 appropriate graphics/pictures. Questionable ones need to be preapproved by the teacher. Also include a title slide and a works cited/reference slide with at least 5 sources.

Students develop a business plan for a retail or service business that they are personally interested in starting. Each student will be responsible for all portions of the comprehensive plan that covers everything, including Title and Table of Contents, Business Description, Writing a Mission Statement, Developing the Marketing Plan, etc.

A unit reflection must be completed for each unit. Follow the guiding questions to organize your reflection paper.

Create a 2 page catalog advertising spread that incorporates your favorite brand. Choose the product images of your choice. Be sure you select one that showcases all the InDesign elements that have been practiced and applied in class. Pay attention to detail and make the finished product look as professional as possible. Follow all your desktop publishing guidelines using InDesign and Photoshop. The final project must in one InDesign document with 2 or more pages.

Produce a photo collage on a 8.5" x 11' project page collecting 15-20 pictures from the internet that reflect your personal interests. Be aware of pixels in images. You must show evidence that learning the photoshop software has taken place.

The purpose of this assignment is to give the student a project that will allow them to use many of their new skills in PhotoShop. Student will create a Movie poster of their own. The movie may be real or fictitious. Attention should be given to quality of images, use of tools, and creativity.

Produce a photoshopped photo. You must use your classtime effectively as it is time to learn photoshop. You must show evidence that learning the photoshop software has taken place.

Employee Evaluation

Students are to create a timeline concerning important events pertaining to the development of the computer and transformation in to other technology devices from the 1800's to present and beyond. There should be no less than 15 items on the timeline. Students are to include pictures that they believe represent the events on their timeline, description of the event (its significance to tech world), as well as website url the sources were obtained from.

The purpose of this project is to analyze the Political and Economic systems of a country and determine in your opinion based on facts what economic system they most closely resemble. Bonus: Can you describe how the political system is a product of the economic system or how the economic system is a product of the political system? You have a choice of whether to prepare report, virtual posters or PowerPoint. If you want to prepare a poster, you need permission from the teacher as to which site to use.

They are to design a hybrid vehicle that they will try to sell to KP by creating a tri-fold brochure that captures her interest. Knowing that KP understands cars and is a tough sell when it comes to this technology, you should provide graphical representations on the mechanics of the car and a set of technical specifications that will surely impress. A reasonable price tag is always attractive as well as a variety of options.
