Cultural Iceberg
Students will create a cultural iceberg based on the characteristics that make up said culture. The students will use pictures and words on the iceberg to depict the regions culture. Students will also show the obstacles below the iceberg that contribute to the region's culture.

Students will create an iceberg based on his/her goal. The goal can be long-term or short-term. The students will use pictures and words on the iceberg to show his/her pathway to achieving this goal. He/she will also show the obstacles faced in achieving said goal.

Una Tira Cómica
Students will create a comic strip using words that they have learned in Chapter 6 - El Bienestar. The comic strip should deal with a trip to the doctor's office as well as a trip to the pharmacy to get medicine from a pharmacist. Students must use the verbs ser and estar as well as a minimum of 5 indirect object pronouns. Student must have a minimum of 12 frames. Frames could be in the home, doctor's office and or the pharmacy.

Spanish 4 - Repaso B - Reflexive Verbs
Students will create a PowerPonit Presentation of a minimum 10 different slides that depict their daily routines. Each slide must include at least two sentences with details and a neatly designed slide depicting the actions of the student's daily routine. A minimum of 8 frames must contain the use of different reflexive verbs. The purpose of the assignment is to demonstrate the student's understanding of the use of reflexive verbs, when to and how to use them correctly. (105 pts.)

Verbs like GUSTAR - Product Promotion
The students will present to the class his/her product ( PowerPoint, Prezi, etc) to the class.The students will include each one of the elements that have been created in class on their presentation with pictures, five sentences using verbs like gustar and five other sentences describing your product to promote.

Doctor's Office Skit Peformance Rubric
This rubric is designed to review the present tense, health related vocabulary, use of indirect object pronouns and the proper uses of the Spanish verbs SER and ESTAR. The skit takes place either in a doctor's office and/or pharmacy. This presentation takes place at the end of the Health unit for a Spanish II level class. Students are required to work in groups of 3-4, each student must have a minimum of 5 complete lines that are to be memorized. Students are to bring in props so the audience can clearly understand the role they are portraying. The skit is based off the skills students have been practicing in the chapter, expressing feelings, symptoms, asking questions, answering questions all related to health and illness. The creativity is up to them! The students are being graded both individually and as a group.
