Character Trial Script/Statement
Each of you has been assigned a role to play. Prior to the trial, you will have to write your role's script for the trial. If you are the defendant, you will write a script of your testimony, if you are the defense attorney or prosecutor, you will write a script of your argument. If you are family with the defendant, you will write a victim impact statement. If you are a character witness, you will write a witness statement. All statements will be presented during the trial.

ESL Movie Project
Students will create a short video skit that will be 2 to 4 minutes in length. Examples include: commercials for a game show, a newscast, a soap-opera, product, movie trailer, skit from kdrama, a mini- sitcom, etc . The video must include each partner speaking 200 words of English. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video. Additionally there will be script that will need to be submitted as well as the movie itself

Spanish Travel Agent Project
You are advertising a pre-planned trip to a Spanish-speaking country for 1 week (focus on a single city/region). Your audience will want to know a little about the country in which they might be traveling, and they will also need your recommendations for what to do/visit/eat while there. You must have a digital aid (with pictures) for your presentation, such as a PowerPoint, video, Prezi, etc., and your entire presentation, both written and spoken must be in Spanish.

Skit Peformance Rubric
This rubric is designed for a Spanish 4 Final Group presentation project presentation in which they will be presenting a skit in Spanish. The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary and grammar points covered all semester; in addition to any previous knowledge they have from Spanish 1, 2, and 3. They are to act out a telenovela. The creativity is up to them to decide the rest! The students are being graded both individually and as a group. The skit should be video taped prior to the presentation.

Rubric for Spanish Speaking Countries Cultural and Foods
Research and prepare a dish or dessert to be shared. Provide a list of ingredients and quantities in Spanish, provide the complete recipe and directions step by step in Spanish. Identify an aspect of the Culture of the selected Spanish Speaking country and make it a part of your recipe presentation.

Postcard Rubric
Write brief postcard to a penpal using topics covered in Chapter 1 of text Paso a Paso1. Postcard should include: an audience appropriate greeting and closing (farewell), two things you enjoy doing, two things you dislike, and two qualities (adjectives) to describe yourself. Student must use the postcard template passed out in class and must include an illustration that depicts items written in letter.

Spanish Reflexive Verbs
Students will create 8 different scenes that depict either their daily routines or a character or emotions using reflexive verbs. Each scene must include one sentence a reflexive verb, and details. Minimum of 8 frames must contain the use of different reflexive verbs as well as other verbs included. Purpose is to use reflexive verbs to show your understanding of the verbs use.
