Students will follow directions and write a skit in Spanish

Create a presentation in Spanish describing family members. This should portray a real family, although fictitious members may be used to meet the requirements. Include a minimum of 6 of family members and information such as family member's relationship to others. Add likes/dislikes, age (tener), and a description of the person (2 adjectives minimum). Include an image for each member. Narrate your family descriptions in Spanish to the class in an oral presentation.

This is the rubric we will use to judge the Valentine's Day door decorating contest. ***Guidelines: Classes should design doors that reflect the Valentine holiday. -Classes may decorate their doors starting 1/28/2013-2/8/2013 -Judging will begin at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 12th. Non-classroom staff will conduct the judging and the winner will be announced VALENTINE'S DAY DURING THE NEWS CAST. -All door decorations must come from within the school or your classroom. IF students have materials they would like to donate that they already have at school that will be fine. Write, memorize (4 lines per person) and present a role play "En la tienda" A Spanish dialogue between two or more characters using the vocabulary 8-1 from Unit 4. Use expressions from the unit/ verb: llevar/demonstrative adjectives/two comparisons/opinions "me parece/n, te queda/n). greetings and pay (numbers 100+). Bring props.

Students will prepare a skit about ordering in a restaurant using the frases and vocabulary from Unidad 5-Capítulo 7. The "meseros" will be native speakers at "Quesadillas."

Students will create a Google Slide presentation, write sentences explaining what they did on Thanksgiving day and present it in class. Students will use the preterite tense of verbs.
