Students are to research important events that took place in fashion using websearch to gather information and pictures to create a timeline for the assigned time period. The timeline must have a minimum of 10 or more events. Each event must have the name of the event, it's date, it's location, a description of the events importance / significance, an image that illustrates the event, and the event must be accurate. Students must be prepared to present their timeline in class.

You are a travel agent for Mexico. You are to create a travel brochure to attract travelers to Mexico during Cinco de Mayo. You will research the internet and use your imagination. This brochure should be colorful, creative and written to entice travelers to spend their money to visit Mexico during Cinco de Mayo. Refer to the handout for some things to include in your brochure. You must also include the name, address, phone/website of your travel agency.

Students are to research 5 careers. One career is to be related to the job they will shadow. One career is to be from the "hot jobs" list. The remaining 3 careers may be the students' choice.

This rubric is based on students notebook having these catagories: Presentation, Class notes/Vocabulary, Worksheets/Syllabus, Returned work, Punctuality

Students need to develop an advertising campaign, for a product of their choice, that would appear in a magazine.

Complete a report on any state except Georgia. Report must be a minimum of 5 pages and include information about the following elements: government, history, culture, economy, important events, festivals, tourism, and any other information you feel appropriate.

Students will use this rubric for their weekly journal entries as well as in class writing prompts. For Journal entries, only a letter grade is assigned. For prompts, max score is 30/30.
