German Pre-AP & AP students will present their information on life in the BRD and DDR. They will present in groups of 3 and have 2-3 each to inform the audience about what they have learned about the political and economic situation as well the school structure and role of women in each country from 1949 to 1989

German III/IV students will present their plans for a vacation starting in Germany. In the presentation, they will state the destination, reason(s) for going there, how they will get there, how long they will stay, where they will stay and what that accommodation offers, and what they intend to do while there.

This is the first performance assessment in your portfolio. You want to make an excursion to Berlin. You invite your friend to go along, but he/she makes up excuses. Continue trying to persuade him/her until you succeed. The dialogue should be between 1-2 minutes long.

This is the first performance assessment in your portfolio. You will greet a friend of yours and ask him/her how he/she is doing. Then you will introduce him/her to your girl/boyfriend. They will greet each other appropriately and ask each other where they are from. In addition, they will ask each other 3 additional questions about school, family, and hobbies. You all will say goodbye.

The students are to describe a sport or free time activity, using appropriate vocabulary.

The student will present the biography of a famous German-speaking artist and find at least 5 of his/her works of art, of which one will be described and analyzed for meaning.
