Student will enlarge a small photo of themselves using the grid method. Portrait will be in oil pastel with a recognizable color scheme.

Create a landscape collage that represents who you are as a person. Include a minimum of 8 things from or about your life to be in the piece. This collage should consist of a wide variety of images that tell who you are and what is important to you.

This Rubric is a basic design for general participation in art class.

Discuss what it means to be a hero. As a link to Greek and Roman Gods and heros, students will write about a person they consider to be heroic in their life. They will then turn that person into a Super-hero. Using knowledge of correct proportion and the Greek and Roman "ideal" human form, students will draw/create their superhero in action. Develop a background and sound composition that helps explain the characters superpowers and heroic qualities.

The student will create an original artwork using two point perspective.

Students will draw from a still life in colour.
