Spanish video/presentation
Students will create a "Spanish video" that will be 3 to 5 minutes in length. It will consist of creating a newscast with anchors and reporters discussing four natural disasters. The video must include each partner speaking at least 14 lines or 200 words of Spanish. All members of the team will contribute and participate in the video. You may use others for your video. The final script is due 3/9and the video is due 3/16.

La Rutina Diaria:Una Tira cómica (Virtual Comic Book) Rubric
Create a presentation about your daily routine using a digital tool or posterboard. You will create a presentation of different scenes that depict your daily routine. Each scene must include at least one sentence with details and a neat illustration. You must use at least eight reflexive verbs. Use at least three transition words (antes (de), después (de), luego, etc.) and at least three time-related words like "Por la mañana, Por la tarde, Por la noche, Durante el dÃa", etc.

Reflexive Verbs Project
You will create a booklet of 10 different scenes that depict your morning routine. Each scene must include at least one sentence with details telling what you do as part of your routine. Be sure your scenes go in order from first to last. Each scene must include a drawing, photo, or clip art illustrating that part of your routine. A minimum of 7 frames must contain the use of 7 different reflexive verbs. You must demonstrate your understanding of the use of reflexive verbs. Due May 16.

Be sure to include both singular and plural pictures. for example: 2 plural and 3 singular for "me gusta (n)" and 3 plural and 2 singular for "no me gusta(n)" Your "me gusta(n)" pictures will be pasted on green construction paper and your "no me gusta (n)" pictures will be pasted on red construction paper.

Childrens Book -- Me Gusta due Nov. 28, 2010
The assignment is to create a children's book describing you and 2 other friends.You will include: Two facing pages that describe you with "me gusta(n)" phrases. Your description of yourself must include 2 things you like 2 things you dislike, and two adjectives to describe yourself for a total of six sentences. Each friend will also have two facing pages where you will use "le gusta(n)" sentences to describe them in the same way as above. You will also have two facing pages that describe what your friends both like and dislike using the phrase "les gusta(n)" as well as two adjoining pages describing what you and one of your friends likes and dislikes using the phrase "nos gusta(n)" Each page that describes a character or characters must include an image of that person, the sentences describing the person and visuals that confirm what the character likes or dislikes. Your must include an attractive cover with an appropriate title

Create a Room Due November 26, 2010--NO LATE PROJECTS
Create a picture of a bedroom. The room should be in color. It should be labeled with at least 10 items from your vocabulary list and/or the supplemental list you have been given. (furniture and accessories). Then describe your room. Write 5 sentences telling where things are in the room using prepositions of place and 4 sentences about your room in general or describing the items in your room. Your final presentation is due November 26, 2010.

Dream House Presentation
You are building your dream home! You will design a home with at least 5 labeled rooms on a piece of graph paper. The assignment begins with drawing your dream house floor plan and labeling it in Spanish. Your floor plan can be sketched or done on power point or word. The second part will require you to draw or using the computer create in detail at least five rooms that simulates your dream home. Including floor coverings, walls, appliances, furniture, windows, stairways, doorways all labeled in Spanish. The final story board should have a minimum of 5 written sentences describing each room and the relationship of objects in each room to one another using prepositions of place.

Spanish Recipe Project
Each student will be randomly assigned a Spanish-speaking country. They will research the food from that country to find 5 typical recipes. Students will illustrate and translate each recipe and present in booklet form.
