This is the most important shot. The most important thing is the weight transfer. The weight transfer is like a lot of other sports such as baseball and golf. Your weight will transfer from your back to your front leg. Stand perpendicular to your target with your stick cupped on the puck and the puck behind your back foot. Transfer your weight as you move the puck forward, and follow through. When you finish your follow through, your stick should be pointing towards your target at around your waist.

While having a catch with your partner, assess their throwing and catching technique and grade them on a scale of 1-10 on their performance and then switch.

Students will be evaluated on 5 components of throwing frisbee

In this performance assessment the students will perform the tennis backhand in a simupated game. The instructor will grade the student on their technique only.

Basketball Unit Scoring Rubric

Beginning basketball - students will dribble the ball with both hands, students will shoot the basketball, students will follow the rules and demonstrate good sportsmanship.

To assess right hand students/athletes on thier volleyball approach, spike, and follow through.

Volleyball Overhand Serve Rubric

First unit on trapping, kicking and ball control

Subject is to use all proper techniques and kick a football through the uprights within the set time limit of two and a half seconds from snap of the ball to the holder.
