End of the Year Culminating US History Presentation

students will be able to connect aspects of the past to present situations acing our nation. Students will gain an understanding of why understanding our past is vital to the prosperity of our nation in the future.

Research Essay Rubric

After selecting a research question about world history, the student will write a two-page essay that responds to the question. The essay must contain a thesis statement with supporting information. The essay must use a minimum of three sources and must include a bibliography; no more than two sources may be from the Internet. The student should read the "Accelerated" column of the rubric to understand the expectations for high-quality work.
