This is a report using data gathered over the course of a semester. It is a summary/reflection report.

Students who cannot participate in PE class due to an injury or professionally diagnosed and treated pathological condition will complete this assignment.

These SHAPE standards are Level 1 and Level 2. They are to help students know, understand, and demonstrate that upon which they will be assessed.

Students will write an essay about how to fit fitness into a busy lifestyle.

Students will be assessed on a partner project: designing a one-month calendar containing daily information on a health/safety related topic.

Students choose one health-related concept and design a Public Service Announcement for that concept. Formats can vary but may include music, video, live action, Prezi/Ppt.

To assess students in the front squat utilizing a barbell.

To assess students in the incline barbell bench press.

To assess form and execution of a deadlift utilizing a barbell.

To assess the form, grip, and execution of a power clean utilizing a barbell.

To assess form and execution of the back squat utilizing a barbell.

To assess form and execution in a bench press with a standard Olympic bar.

For swimmers, coaches, and parents to gain understanding as to what is expected of swimmers as members of a competitive swim team.
