The rubric describes essential ingredients of how to reflect on and synthesize your learning. Your response should synthesize your the knowledge you have gained from multiple resources throughout this course.

Prepare a treatment plan using the DO A CLIENT MAP format. Treatments are to be evidence-based, sources documented.

The EBP paper provides students with an opportunity to research and develop an in-depth understanding of a key practice or policy question. This includes an integrated critical appraisal of the scholarly literature that demonstrates an understanding of diverse research methodologies and findings, and the ability to synthesize and draw one's own conclusions about the status of practice or policy in a selected area. The goal is to develop a set of implications based on a theoretical understanding of the topic, contextual factors, and the best available research evidence. Your document should reflect the rigorous application of the EPB process and be written so that your synthesis and recommendations speak to the field – social work practitioners and policymakers.

Ethical Reasoning is reasoning about right and wrong human conduct. It requires students to be able to assess their own ethical values and the social context of problems, recognize ethical issues in a variety of settings, think about how different ethical perspectives might be applied to ethical dilemmas and consider the ramifications of alternative actions. Students’ ethical self identity evolves as they practice ethical decision-making skills and learn how to describe and analyze positions on ethical issues.
