You and your classmates will be taking a trip to an assigned French speaking country. Like any good tourist, you must prepare yourself before you visit in order to get the most from your trip! International Travel Project
The purpose of this unit is to facilitate student learning about the world in which we live. Students will receive a 'International Travel Packety' packet to complete. The student will pretend that he/she is going to visit a minium for 8-10 days and will make round trip travel arrangements to and from their assigned country. To be prepared for the trip, the student will use technology to conduct internet research in order to be able to answer questions about their assigned country’s resources, culture, government, religion, geography, political atmosphere, social events, recreational pastimes, history, economics, etc. After the student has gathered all of the research, they will synthesize the information and write a report about their country and then create a power point presentation to go with their report.
