Canadian Provinces: Group Teaching
Students will break into groups of 4, and be assigned a region of Canada. Each student in that group will be responsible for researching one of the Provinces within that region and creating a written outline, highlighting bolded words and vocabulary. They will present this to the class via an iPad picture of their notes. The group as a whole will produce and introduction and a closing complete with at least one personal observation.

Students will choose a trade to which they would like to be apprenticed in the colonies, (from a list) and do a one page (type written) report describing this trade and why it was important to the colonies. Students will also write a dramatic monologue, (at least 2 paragraphs and separate from the report) telling their prospective employer why you've chosen this trade and why he should choose them as his apprentice.
