You will write a newspaper article that addresses the factory conditions, for children, during the Industrial Revolution. It should include: Jobs children performed, accidents that occurred often, punishments children encountered, food children were given, and hours worked. Support your opinions with news (facts only). Your article must address all five "Ws:" who, what, where, when, and why. In addition, your article must have a headline and drawing or image with a caption.

The students will work with a partner to put together a tri-fold pamphlet for display. The tri-fold pamphlet will contain relevant information directly related to the Reconstruction Era. Students will provide accurate information in a creative and colorful manner with pictures, taken from the internet or drawn, or scenarios to educate peers about the chosen topic. Along with the pamphlet a 1 page summary about the topic is required, 1.5 pages if hand written.
