Badminton Summative Assessment
Class participated in a Badminton unit which mostly consisted of doubles game play. Emphasis was placed on serving, game rules, strategy and shot variety.

Mental Disorder Presentations
You will be researching a mental disorder of your choice and have the option of; creating a one page flyer describing a mental illness, organize a poster presentation, create a power point presentation or get creative and come up with another format to present your information. Pick a mental disorder from one of the following categories: anxiety disorders, mood disorders,eating disorders, personality disorders, Conduct disorder or schizophrenia.

Volleyball Skill- Serve

Basketball Skills Assessment
Basketball- students will dribble the ball with both hands, use proper passing skills, students will shoot the basketball, students will perform lay ups, students will show competency during a game situation.

Volleyball: Overhand Serve
Evaluation on the skill of overhand serving a volleyball. Students are rated and scored on the mechanics of their serving, not the number of serve landing inbounds. Scoring in the ADVANCED range gains extra credit.

Volleyball Skill- Serve
The students must demonstrate proper form for either an over head serve or an underhand serve. The ball must be tossed in the air, hit above the head, and the arm must follow through once the ball has been hit for the over head serve. The ball must be held in one hand, hit with the other (waist high), and their striking arm must follow through once the ball has been hit for the underhand serve. Accuracy will be determined by the teacher and where the ball lands on the volleyball court or designated target area. The students must specify which serve they are going to perfrom to the teacher.
